Is it written in simple and readily understood language?
Does it identify the person to whom the warranty is issued?
Does it clearly list the beginning date of coverage and the length of
time and mileage allowed for the duration of the warranty?
Does it list the items being covered and also items not covered by the
warranty?
Does it clearly explain what the consumer must do to receive repairs
under the terms of the warranty?
Does it clearly explain where the consumer's vehicle will be repaired?
Will the repair be authorized only in the original repair facility or does

What is a "Reman" Transmission?
A "reman" unit is generally a transmission that has been reconditioned in a
mass assembly line process as opposed to a custom rebuilding process.
Quality of reman units varies greatly depending on which company
remanufactured a given unit and what standards the manufacturer set for its
company.
The decision of whether or not to use a reman or a custom unit has many
variables:
How do you use your vehicle?
Is the transmission in your car a problematic or a more simple type unit?
How long do you plan to own the vehicle?
Is your vehicle subjected to special driving conditions such as extreme
weather, trailering, unusual mountainous or city use?
